TECHNICAL MANAGER - GLOBAL EXPO
The technical team for this major international event are looking for an experienced production/exhibition manager to join them. You'll be responsible for the successful technical delivery of a range of elements of the event, pre-production and on-site during the event itself. This is a contract until the end of 2011, and is offering £30-35k plus end of project bonus.
ROLE
- Plan and manage the delivery of a range of technical elements of major exhibition event (including interactive visitor experiences, stands etc)
- Scoping, contracting and management of suppliers and materials
- Manage resources (including agencies, suppliers, contractors)
- Oversee floorplans, schedules, provision of all services/utilities
- Ensure your areas of responsibility within the Technical Directorate are delivered to acceptable standards on time, to budget and meet the required specification(s)/objective(s).
- Recruit, manage, support and motivate allocated staff to successfully deliver activities/tasks
CANDIDATE
- Significant technical production experience within events
- Experience in the planning and delivery of major exhibitions
- Experience of installation of complex exhibition features/live working exhibits
- Experience of dealing with technical suppliers, floor plans etc
- Excellent communication, planning and budgetary skills
