Commercial company with strong portfolios of leading exhibitions, conferences and awards is looking for an Event Director to cover a maternity contract from August onwards
ROLE
-Oversee the exhibitions, conferences and awards
-Full responsibility for the Profit & Loss of each event within their sector portfolio
-Leading a team of 10+ across marketing, sales, conference production and logistics
- Overseeing the marketing strategies for all the events and working closely with sales teams to deliver on financial objectives
-Managing and negotiating with suppliers and contractors
-Create and implement new business strategies alongside the Group Director
CANDIDATE
-Industry wide knowledge and experience managing a portfolio of events
-Able to think strategically to develop live event plans
-Team management of 10+ people
-Significant experience delivering conferences, exhibitions and awards
-Forward thinking with strong focus on market trends
-Strong financial planning and management
