EVENT DIRECTOR - LIVE EVENTS (HONG KONG)

Our client is an established agency within events and exhibitions, and is looking to recruit a senior Event Director, to develop the Event Division and drive their live communications offering forward. They are looking for an all-rounder, who can combine excellent event production experience with strong client management skills.

Someone who can lead the team, manage business, and look after client relationships and business development. A senior Event Director looking for a new and exciting opportunity....

You'll build the company's event services as a major event agency in the region, with innovative event solutions and memorable brand experiences for varied clients. The role encompasses a diverse range of requirements including pitching, planning, managing and implementing events and mulifaceted projects on behalf of clients. Projects may include: conferences, product launches, gala dinners, roadshows,corporate events, technical event services - clients ranging from automotive to financial to sporting bodies and organisations.

This is a key role for the company requiring a Senior level events professional with:
- Significant event experience gained in an Agency
- Experience of developing and growing business, excellent client development skills
- Strong live events/technical understanding
- Able to lead and write pitches and conceptualise events
- Experience of leading team of event professionals, and able to motivate and develop a team
- Able to focus on the big picture, but able to roll up sleeves and pitch in
- Able to work with varied cultures
- Strong management and budget experience
