CUSTOMER CARE SENIOR MANAGER - EVENTS & EXHIBITIONS

This industry-leading global organisation deliver a range of international events and exhibitions - with their flagship event attracting over 50,000 industry professionals. Customer care, and the delegate/exhibitor experience are key, and they are looking for an events & exhibitions industry professional to be the internal lead for it's superlative delivery. The customer care team play a key role in ensuring that the organisation's clients and members are satisfied with the level of support and customer service they receive at every 'touch point' within the organisation, and particularly at their events.

As a Senior Manager within the organisation, you'll be the champion for Customer Care, and your role would include devising, shaping and delivering the Customer Care plan,and managing the delivery of customer care service provision, directly (through internal handling) and indirectly (through the management of 3rd party suppliers, including service and contact centres). You'll manage an internal customer care team of 2, and will be involved in the maintenance and development of vendor relationships, including review of operational performance. Quantitative measurement and evaluation of customer care service will, of course, be key.

The successful candidate's skills and experience would include:
- international events and exhibitions operations experience
- a track record of delivering excellent customer care / service provision
- strong on process and measurement
- strong stakeholder and supplier manager
- team management experience
- Contact Centre management exposure would be a distinct advantage
- European second language would be advantageous but not essential
