Are you a talented financial services sector Copywriter? A unique and high profile Advisory body that has been tasked with delivering a major national government reform is looking for an experienced financial services Copywriter to write high quality copy across a number of different communication channels.

Communications Copywriter with solid financial and corporate communications experience is needed urgently – they’re looking for someone who’s a real doer – can turn things around quickly across a range of communication and who will understand their target market. This job will test your copywriting skills to the maximum as it will involve lots of writing and editing across and exciting range of communications.

The Company

- Established to assist with the implementation and roll out of a major scheme and government reform programme

- Based in the Corporate Communications Team is responsible for the delivery of the authority’s corporate marketing, internal communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

- Copywriter - based in Corporate Communications Team
- Write and proof high quality copy for different channels including web
- Ensure copy written is in line with brand values
- Produce copy for diverse audiences - specialists to members of the public
- Proof read copy you have produced as well as content written by colleagues
- Help team as a whole deliver corporate and marketing communications

The Candidate

- Experience in a Copywriting role gained in pensions and/or financial services environment.
- Experience in composing, proofing and editing effective and engaging copy for website, internet, media, publications and organisational documents
- Proven experience in writing in a variety of styles and writing within a defined tone of voice
- Ability to turn sometimes challenging technical content into easily understood copy
- Graduate or post graduate in journalism and/or communications and/or Marketing
- Proven in excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
