EVENT MANAGER - MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS
This not-for-profit organisation run an annual programme of events for the media industry - a mix of sporting challenges, gala and fundraising activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Event Manager to join their team - bringing their logistical expertise to planning and running their events, and their entrepreneurial and creative mind, to enhance the programme, and build further on their client relationships with the media and creative companies who participate in them.
The successful candidate must bring:
- Excellent event co-ordination skills, with good knowledge of H&S etc.
- Proven experience of working on sport participation/team building, and gala events
- Able to deal with very senior level industry leaders with confidence
- Excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit - can think of great ideas .... and make them happen!
- Proactive and flexible
- Resourceful and solution orientated
- A good knowledge of the media and communications industry would be a distinct advantage
