HEAD OF PROGRAMMES - HEALTHCARE CONFERENCES

Our client is an industry leader in the healthcare sector - they research, plan and organise a busy programme of conferences and exhibitions in healthcare. They're successful, growing, and looking for a Head of Programmes - a senior role, with an immediate place on the Management Team.

The main purpose of the role is to lead, develop and write their industry-leading conference programme, and includes:
- leadership of the division
- research, production and writing of conference programmes and marketing briefs for conferences
- development of new topics and conference areas
- line management

They're looking for an experienced conference producer and writer, someone who can demonstrate leadership ability, with excellent research skills. Some knowledge of the health market, particularly NHS would be an advantage. You should be able to produce conference programmes from a marketing perspective, with a clear focus on the target market. Demonstrated leadership and line management experience are essential.
