PLANNING DIRECTOR – INTEGRATED AGENCY – LONDON – £70K

The Company:

· Part of large global full service agency network
· Focus on retail marcoms, in-store, channel and experiential services
· Creates and delivers a broad spectrum of campaigns on and off-line including experiential events, literature, PoS, PoP, packaging, advertising, interactive retail installations, games, mobile marketing
· Great Central London Location

The Role:
· Planning Director – Retail
· Use your practical experience and knowledge of retailing can provide strategic leadership to clients
· Understands consumer purchasing power, understands trends, understandings consumers shopping mission
· To define, implement and establish strategic planning as a core part of the business
· To identify resource and implement necessary tools, resources and processes to deliver against client brief
· Create insight from the analysis of a wide variety of data sources
· Collation of existing and future business from on and off-line sources
· Liaise and consult with clients with regard to their strategic marketing communications planning
· Write and present creative briefs, plans and opinions to existing and prospective clients
· Define and drive a new concept from initiation through to delivery


The Person:
· Strong experience in strategic marketing and planning, either client side or agency from consumer behaviour to store design
· Proven ability to analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
· Good management experience
· Ability to juggle several projects at one time, from retail to corporate
· Experience in retail/shopper marketing preferable
· Ability to analyse key trends and data and present findings at both internal and client meetings
· Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills
· Highly inquisitive and challenging mind-set
