JOB DESCRIPTION
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious publications expert to join this health and social marketing communications agency as publications manager

The Company:
· Leading creative communications agency specialising in health and social marketing
· Offer a full spectrum of services from initial research and community engagement through planning, design, words, photography, media management and evaluation
· Deliver targeted, sensitive campaigns
· Broad range of services including Branding, Publications, Web and DVD

The Role:
· Publications Manager – Future opportunity to develop and grow this side of the agency into a semi-independent business
· Manage publication projects including budgets and schedules, client management and presentations
· Manage studio resources
· Develop company resources including, writers, designers, web developers and printers
· Manage supplier relationships
· Client relationship building alongside the Client Services director
· Support the company’s new business development
· Written contributions as required for publications, website and newsletter
· Co-ordinate between the Account and Creative teams

The Person:
· Account or publications management experience within the social sector, either agency or client side, including management experience of health and /or social sector communications.
· Demonstrable experience of managing communications, marketing and project management processes in excess of £50k
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, ability to communicate at all levels
· Strong understanding of what make a publication work
· Degree or equivalent
· Strong commercial instinct
