The Role:
· Sales Executive
· Multi-dimensional role report to Head of Group Marketing
· Grow existing marketing database of companies and build upon it my identifying new opportunities in the media and via other sources
· Researching and identifying and build on-going relationships with new business opportunities
· Contacting prospective clients by phone
· Turning challenging questions from prospects into invitations to meet their experts, either one to one or by attending their business seminars
· Full control of the Maximiser database
The Person:
· Confident, proactive, and enthusiastic sales person with a winning telephone manner
· Ambition to develop own career towards being a Sales Director
· Understand the marketing communications sector
· Not just picking up the phone – all about engaging so they want to find out more!
· Advantage but not essential if you have an awareness of the voluntary and not for profit sectors/government, and pressures being faced by major corporations
· Excellent communication skills – internal and external
· Confident, positive personality
· Great attention to detail
· Need to have a genuine interest in good causes and the issues surrounding the various corporate social responsibility debates.
