STAKEHOLDER ACCOUNT MANAGER – CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS – GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY – £POA
A unique and high profile Advisory body that has been tasked with delivering a major national government reform is looking for a Stakeholder Account Manager to join their Corporate Communications Team. This role will involve intelligence gathering, contact programmes, stakeholder liaison and engagement at key milestones as well as message development for stakeholder events. One of the most exciting reform programmes of this decade.
Working with the Head of Stakeholder Relations you will work alongside one other account manager to ensure that this important authority’s’ public profile and reputation is enabled to meet its objectives….A great opportunity to be part of a huge and exciting project that will have a large social impact….
The Company

• Established to assist with the implementation and roll out of a major scheme and government reform programme

• Based in the Corporate Communications Team who are responsible for delivering a range of internal and external communications.
The Role
• Stakeholder Account Manager – based in Corporate Communications Team – looking after either political and pensions industry or consumer and employer bodies
• Ensure the authority’s public profile and reputation is enabled to meet objectives.
• Analysis of policy developments through thorough systematic analysis of target stakeholders, press releases, public and media statements and comments, publications and one to one meetings
• Timely dissemination of relevant policy positions of stakeholders.
• Creation of stakeholder avenues
• Message development of speeches, presentations and briefings
• Establishment of constructive stakeholder relationships
• Help team as a whole deliver corporate and marketing communications
The Candidate
• Proven experience gained in stakeholder relations, senior policy, campaign, corporate relations or public affairs role, ideally in either political, financial and consumer industries
• Degree or the equivalent – journalistic or PR qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential
• Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
• Experience of building extensive professional networks
• Familiarity with different message channels
• Outstanding written and verbal communications team
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Effective team player
