SENIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER - MAJOR EVENT
Are you a TOP LEVEL event professional with proven experience of managing the technical requirements of large scale public events? 2011 sees one of London's biggest venues host a major competitive £30m event - 100,000+ international delegates and visitors are expected and the event will be under a global spotlight.
Reporting into the Technical Director, the Senior Technical Manger will plan and deliver the complex and broad range of technical elements including: interactive visitor experiences, stands, the event information technology network, occupational and public event Health & Safety, event services, all technical event production. You'll lead and manage a H&S Manager and IT Manager - and appoint and manage the wider technical team as required, both for the pre-production and running of the event. As well as excellent technical production experience, you'll also therefore need superlative and proven planning and leadership skills.
This is a big role on a big event, and will need proven experience of working at a senior level on the technical aspects of similar complex large scale.
