HEAD OF DELEGATE & CUSTOMER SERVICES - MAJOR EVENT

Are you a top level event professional with proven experience of large scale public event logistics? 2011 sees one of London's biggest venues host a major competitive £30m event - 100,000+ international visitors are expected and the event will be under a global spotlight.

Reporting into the Ops Director, you'll take the operational lead on all aspects of the delegate and visitor experience - responsible for procurement, delivery and management of all logistical elements - Registration/Accreditation, Delegate Package Management, Catering, Accommodation, Transportation and Customer Services. You'll recruit and lead a team of Managers in each of these areas. You'll develop the strategy, operational plans and management systems required - scoping, contracting and management of suppliers and materials, design and implement policies and procedures, and ultimately providing the huge number of delegates and visitors with a faultless experience. This is a big job, on a big event - and needs a candidate who brings the depth of logistical experience and leadership skills that can only have been gained working on similar large scale projects.
