MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER – RETAIL – BUCKS – 30-35K
Successful global food retail chain is looking for Marketing Communications Manager to support and oversee the external and internal communication strategy across UK and Europe. Working with the senior management is will be your responsibility to support the company business strategies and franchises as it goes through a period of growth.
You’ll need to have food/retail marketing experience, a proven background in providing effective internal and external communication strategies – insuring brand consistency and representing brand values across a mix of mediums and channels. You’ll need to work with various business heads to ensure coordinated messages are sent out across the businesses both individually and as a group.

• Work with franchises
• Global – expanding rapidly in Europe
• Based in High Wycombe
• Report to Communication Senior Manager
• Could potentially look at 4 days a week option
The Role:
• Support and oversee the external and internal communication strategy across the different franchises.
• Very much stand alone – lots of autonomy
• Develop and implement communication plan to support the company’s strategies
• Coordinate annual communications – annual report, franchise briefings
• Champion brand values and ensure guidelines are implemented and met
• Propose and implement new communication initiatives and tools – including web, intranet, newsletters, including writing content
• Manage external agencies
• Look at ROI
The Person:
• Previous experience retail/food services industry
• Experience in producing effective internal and external communication across the mix
• Understanding of new media communication
• Able to develop, plan and execute and measure strategies and outcome
• Self-starter – and able tow ork without supervision and communicate at all levels
• Degree and/or further professional qualification
• Strong business document – able to produce effective communications on time and on budget
