An innovative, community based inner-city regeneration project is looking for manager with a proven background in fundraising to come in and build effective partnerships and shape the development of this high profile non faith based community centre.

• The centre offers a vibrant, varied and sustainable range of services to the local multi cultural community.
The Role
• Fundraising Manager
• To develop a 3 year fundraising strategy and annual plans for the centre.
• Identify funding and income streams which are in line with the spirit and values of the charity.
• Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with funders, preparing and submitting strong bids
• Set up monitoring service
• Recruit and manage a team of volunteers and salaried fundraisers
• Proactively encourage greater participation with local community.
• Develop marketing and publicity resources for the centre – including website updates, newsletter mailers, build PR with local press
The Person:
• Experience in different type of charity funding including grants, trusts, corporate doners
• Excellent project management skills including budget and timing plans.
• Track record of rising funds.
• Be able to demonstrate positive and active engagement with communities.
• Some experience of marketing and PR.
• Demonstratable background in building effective partnerships.
Excellent networking and negotiating skills.
