- COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER – 2012 OLYMPIC SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME

Tiered sponsor for the London 2012 Olympics has a 3 year contract starting in November for a Communications Manager to develop, implement and manage the activation programmes maximising their support of the games.
ROLE
Working with the steering group this role is integral in developing and implementing an ongoing integrated programme of activities for each of their key audiences. Managing the budget and timeline of activities this role will be overseeing a team of 2 Marketing Executives and liaising closely with LOCOG
CANDIDATE
-Must have previous experience managing communications programmes for large-scale sporting, commercial sponsorship or activation programme
-Solid understanding of communication theory
-Strong project management skills
-Team management experience
-Experience creating, project managing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns
-Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic approach
-Role is starting in November so ideally available now
