MARKETING ASSISTANT – EVENTS AND CONFERENES - £18,000

Information Business provider who specialise in Sport and Education Sectors have a fantastic role for a marketing assistant to join their education conferences and events team.
They are a very dynamic company and this division provides a forum for teachers to share knowledge and develop their expertise.. The conferences team is the largest division and they organise a large number of conferences each year. This marketing assistant role for a very enthusiastic and savvy individual who is intererested in education, conferences and events to join the team and be trained across the marketing mix in event marketing.

The Role

• Working closely with the producers to ensure copy is produced on time
• Looking after marketing collateral such as brochures etc
• Creating marketing plans and executing across different channels such as DM, Mailers, E marketing, websites
• Website creation for individual events using CMS
• E mailers, online banners, pre and post event web guides
• Involvement in database list and segmentations
• Creating delegate packs and working with the designers
• Proofing marketing copye
• Attending conferences
• Logging and recording information for reporting and analysis
• Really varied role that is busy and fast moving!
The Person

• Either a marketing degree or qualification
• Relevant marketing support skills and experience
• Excellent IT skills including knowledge of websites and CMS
• Brilliant opportunity to get into marketing and learn about the conference and events industry.
