Job description:
This beautiful historical venue in North London is looking for a Head of Events & Leisure to champion its future at a strategic level. This is a great new opportunity for a head of events with senior management experience to play a key part in developing this well-loved, iconic and exciting UK venue.

ROLE
Immediately tasked with creating a preferred list of suppliers and a sustainability policy
Lead client role in a large investment opportunity on the leisure side
Being part of the senior management team and as such managing and developing the Events & Leisure teams
Making recommendations to the Board and planning business proposals and strategy for presentation and implementation
Managing the events and leisure budget in its entirety and related performance management
Taking the venue forward and really putting it on the map as both a corporate events space and a fantastic tourist destination
CANDIDATE
Will come from a large UK venue, ideally a tourist destination, or similar venue
Must have managed an events team and have excellent leadership skills
Must be used to pitching business strategy to board level and implementing commercial strategy
Should ideally be IOSH qualified
You will come from a hands-on event background but now be a strategic director at a venue
Must believe in the venue, have a passion for this building and want to develop and grow the business
