SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER - MAJOR EVENT
Job description:
Excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in the delivery of this unique event - you'll be key in managing a range of operational and technical aspects in the planning and delivery of this £multimillion and complex event taking place on the international stage.
Role:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role within the Operational and Technical team, managing a range of aspects in the planning and delivery of the event. This will include the design and management of venue layout, contracting suppliers and materials, and utilities and infrastructure. The event will take place at a major London venue, and will be putting London at the centre of the international stage.
Candidate:
With a successful track record of planning, organising and running large events / exhibitions,
you must also have experience of managing contractors and suppliers to deliver outsourced
work. You must be highly organised and self-motivated, an excellent team player, and able to
manage and motivate a small team.
This is a full time contract until the end of 2011, with a significant end of project bonus. You'll be working with a handpicked team of exceptional event specialists and be key to the success of this amazing event.
An exceptional track record in delivering the technical and production aspects of complex large events is essential for this role, and experience working within one of London's major venues would be very advantageous.
