A unique and high profile Advisory body that has been tasked with delivering a major national government reform is looking for a Press and Stakeholder Advisor to join their Corporate Communications Team.
This role will provide support to the stakeholder and media team in relation to stakeholder engagement.
The Company

- Established to assist with the implementation and roll out of a major scheme and government reform programme
- Based off Borough High Street

- Based in the Corporate Communications Team is responsible for the delivery of the authority’s external communications, website, publications, media enquiries and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
- Press/Media Relations Advisor – based in Corporate Communications Team
- Day to day media monitoring and analysis
- Undertake research and information gathering to help understand key stakeholder issues
- Support the team prepare for media events
- Drafting press releases, Q&A’s and briefing documents
- Manage briefing packs
- Help team as a whole deliver corporate and marketing communications
The Candidate
- Proven experience of working within the media and an understanding of Press and media agendas
- Experience of working in the financial services sector and public sector
- Graduate or post graduate in journalism and/or PR/or Marketing of degree or professional qualification education level
- Outstanding written and verbal communications team
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Effective team player
