OPERATIONS MANAGER – AGENCY - HERTS
This Hertfordshire based events agency are urgently looking for a Operations Manager to be hub of company’s operations, procedures and systems.
COMPANY
· Live events agency covering production, design, content, creative, a/v and logistics for broad client base
· Hertfordshire/Essex boarder
· 35 employees – countryside location – car driver essential
ROLE
· An internal facing operational support position – very hands on
· This role is the heart of the company’s operations – ensuring back-up to workshop manager and production team
· To ensure compliance with internal operations processes ensuring project delivery in an efficient, safe and profitable manner
· To lead the operations support team reporting into the Operations Director
· To recruit, select, lead and develop the Operations support staff
· Manage purchasing and ordering with suppliers
· Liaise on daily basis with internal department to resource all projects in line with Project Managers
· Manage timesheet recording, own & manage ops board, authorize payments etc
· To manage key supplier relations
CANDIDATE
· Previous experience in event Logistics, Event Management and / or Event Production within another agency
· Ability to build relations internally and externally
· Ability to focus on quality and costs
· Previous team leadership experience – to show strong line management capabilities
· Budget and line management experience
