Marketing Executive

Company:
UK’s market leader in clinical meetings/training courses for GPs and hospital doctors, are now recruiting a temporary marketing specialist to fill a vacancy.

Responsibilities include:
·Ensure timely and effective execution of all marketing campaigns
·Conduct market research to understand market behaviour and motivations
·Create integrated marketing plans using a mix of direct mail, email, online and print advertising
·Run effective marketing campaigns and promotional offers that will deliver results
·Write copy for brochure, email campaigns, press releases and the website
·Produce and track effectiveness of print and online adverts
·Work with printers and mail-houses to ensure timely and accurate production and mailing of brochures and promotional materials
·Ongoing listings of your events on internal and external websites
·Take delegate bookings and enquiries over the phone, email and online
·Use Plone to manage and update the online content on the website and keeping the site up to date
·Work with editorial, sponsorship sales and events team as well as other products to generate maximum exposure for your events
·Complete event clean up including pre and post analysis of your campaigns and using testimonials from delegate evaluation forms
·Develop partnerships or find new ways to work with partners and associations, i.e. deaneries, postgraduate medical centres, and royal colleges
·Track and research market trends

Candidate:
With strong experience in marketing of commercial conferences, you will be able to hit the ground running and achieve delegate targets. You know how to plan, implement and evaluate direct marketing campaigns to promote your events within a given budget. This will involve using the full marketing mix online and offline, database segmenting, copy-writing, proofreading, and liaising with suppliers and designers. You will be an excellent communicator and highly organised to be able to manage more than one marketing campaign at the same time.
