An international renowned ‘Energy Sector’ organisation is looking for a Research Manager to identify trends and analyse behaviour of members to allow for data-based, trend-based and behaviour-based reporting and effective decision making……

The Company:

· The Society’s main aim is to collect, exchange relevant sector information through publications, events and exhibitions for their members.

· They produce meetings, workshops, conferences, exhibitions throughout the world

The Role:

· Research Manager

· Responsible for identifying trends in the market place and analysing the behaviour of members to allow for data-based, trend-based and behaviour based reporting and decision making.

· Compile data from existing sources to compile member demographics and demographics of event attendees

· Develop forward thinking research programmes

· Support strategic business plans through the execution and dissemination of market analysis

· Determine the market interest and potential of new products and programmes, including workshops conferences and publications

· Work with marketing team

· Conduct research using a variety of methods including dm surveys, focus group interviews, web based survey and online panels

· Make recommendations

The Person:

· Degree educated or the equivalent

· Proven experience in research

· Effective writing and ability to create research reports and presentations

· Experience of managing outside research firms to supplement quantitative and qualitative research
